The Mission

While we were in education we found that many of the levels of education (district, school, teacher) lacked resources to support communication between educators and the community. Working in the Public Relations office we had many requests to support programs, schools, and teachers throughout our district. We hope to make our expertise available to a larger number of school professionals though this website and our business.

The Company

Founded in August of 2004 in San Jose, California, Chrysalys was developed to fill a need for school districts to take advantage of technology to provide information to the community, their employees, and parents and students. The company was formed by two women who won numerous awards from the California School Public Relations Association (CalSPRA) and the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).

The Company Name & Logo

The name is derived from the name of a butterfly cocoon. The cocoon signifies the birth of something beautiful. The logo is the magnificent butterfly which has emerged from the chrysalis.
